97 Crochet and Knit Square Patterns

It would be really fun to play with colors on this easy level pattern. I'm thinking about hooking this up in red, white and blue for the veteran's organization.

This pretty blanket is definitely not your granny's afghan. The mixture of small and large interesting motifs, in the colorful Red Heart With Love makes this a fun afghan to crochet and display.

This short, traditional granny square jacket is super cute! Another easy level pattern that if offered in sizing to XL. I think it could be made a bit bigger by using some of the ideas in the previous coat above.
BERNAT RECTANGLE GRANNY CROCHET BLANKET
How did I almost miss this really pretty modern granny?! This will speed off your hook with Bernat Blanket yarn, with fewer holes than your granny's granny. Also, the rectangle shape is always a welcome pattern and the colors really give it the Joanna Gaines, Magnolia style.
CARON SQUARE UP CROCHET BLANKET
We get so many requests for ideas using Caron Latte Cakes yarn. This is a must-see as it is easy to crochet, mitered square design. Let the self-striping cakes flow, then add a few rows of the solid-coloured cakes to finish off each square.
RED HEART PRISMATIC CHROMATIC CROCHET BLANKET
This easy 2-color square makes a really fun, eye-appealing blanket. It gives the illusion of a prism with its play on color. You, of course, can change your colors and give it a whole new look. Think about a monochromatic one using this idea. Also, this would be a perfect scrap and stash yarn project.
