Tunisian Simple Stitch
Learn how to do the Tunisian Simple Stitch. In Tunisian based patterns, this stitch is referred to as TSS for the abbreviations.
This is a very common stitch.
You can see this pattern below for written instructions for this stitch. The dishcloth is just Tunisian Simple Stitch.
For tutorial purposes, I have used Bernat Mega Bulky Yarn with a very large Tunisian Afghan Hook to demonstrate exactly where the hook is going in the project.

There is nothing when I "CLICK HERE to download the printable instruction sheet."

The article is updated with an easy to find Blue Download to redirect you to a pattern where the Tunisian Simple Stitch is written out. Hopefully, that helps you. It may take 2 hours before you see it on the public side. Refresh your CACHE to force it to regenerate.

I have been knitting and crocheting for at least 60 of my 65 years on this earth. I am sorry to break your bubble...but what you call "Tunisian stitch" is actually a stitch called "Afghan stitch". I have some of your pattern books and you all call it "Tunisian stitch". The actual "Tunisian stitch" is done with a "fro-hook" which is a long hook with a hook at each end. The pattern consists of the same two rows as you're using for what you call Tunisian stitch. What changes is that you work with 2 balls of wool, it can be a contrasting colour or not. You also turn your work around. To make it easier for you to understand, go to Youtube and type in "Cro-hooking". It shows it better than I can explain it. If you wish, I can send you a picture of a jacket I made for myself last fall. You would have to explain to me how to send it.

There isn't a print out for this stitch. I have tried 3 times, this being the 4th. I love your videos but I need a print out for a car trip. Thanks
