Crochet 1-2-3 Blanket
The Crochet 1-2-3 Blanket features the chevron or zig-zag feature in this plush afghan. I'm really not sure why it's called 1-2-3 but I will say there is three double crochets that stand-alone between the highs and lows of the chevrons. So maybe that's where the name comes from.
This chevron based blanket is easy to master as the ups and downs are really quick and there's not a lot of thinking power involved once the pattern sticks in your mind.
The pattern shows doing 20 rows of 1 colour before switching to the next but, of course, you can change colour as often as you wish if you would like to see more consistent stripes or for your stripes to be less thick. You're the artist, decide what is right for you.
In the tutorial below, I share the secret of being able to change the size if you wish. I share with you the multiples in order to make it more narrow or to make it much wider. Just know, if you change the starting chain, it will change how much yarn you will need. Just consider that before you start.
