Taking discontinued yarn and using it for charity work is definitely high on my priority list. The Bernat Forever Fleece Tweeds are in my collection but were discontinued. I am building a charity box of hats to give out.
I decided to design an essential charity beanie hat called the Crochet Charity Bark Adult Beanie. It's thick yarn, and I went smaller on the hook size than recommended to ensure it's a nice tight stitch. It sucks to have a winter hat on and feel like the wind is blowing into your ears.
Knowing this yarn is thick, the hat doesn't take much time at all.
