This is an easy four-row repeating pattern that uses the crochet arcade stitch. It grows out from the middle, rotating the beginning to build it out from the middle.
These are incredibly fast to make. They just take four balls of Bernat Blanket yarn. This is the Crochet Arcade Stitch Palliative Care Blanket.
Size: 42” wide by 50” long.
This is a great stash-busting project to finish up any balls you may have. I used leftovers from one of the stitch-alongs from years ago.

This blanket has a unique approach of doing the first 4 rows of the pattern. Then, turn the project around and do the other side building out from the centre beginning chain for the next section. It’s why you have a thicker colour centre stripe in the middle.
Then you will do the next 4 rows of the opposite colour, then turn the blanket around and do the opposite side. The blanket is then built from the center outward.
