    First off, thank you Mikey for making these videos. Thanks to you, I have been able to expand my skill set beyond a single or half-double crochet.

    Secondly, I noticed that the afghan you are using in the intro has a much tighter weave than the one you produce step by step for us. Can you explain how this tighter weave is achieved? I have a pet peeve about having my patterns be too open or loose when the pattern doesn't call for it.

    I would like to make my afghan a rectangle instead of a square. when do you suggest starting to decrease?
