The Crochet Oversized Cardigan uses Bernat Blanket. Thick and comfy. Lounge around on your terms. This is a beginner-level project, as there is basic shaping. A schematic on page 3 of the pattern shows you the panels.
The sleeves are not sewn on but added to the cardigan once the main neck opening and back section is completed.
The way clothing is made like a shaped blanket over our bodies. So you may be surprised by the yarn ball quantities needed. It usually amazes me, too, until you get crocheting it.
If you love sweaters and want to try something else, here's the Father's Day Pullover. A free tutorial is included to help you as well.

I have no idea how to make the right front. Am I attaching this side to the existing body?
Thanks,
Mikey says
Yes that's right.

Where can we find a better explanation on the instructions starting at "Right front and back"? It's not coming together for me.
Mikey says
WHen you are doing the body, it says you are doing the left side.
When you do the front right and back. You start with just chain #... In the next instruction, you can see will crochet that panel but jump to the existing body panel you have created to make it appear seamless.
