Crochet Puff Braided Cowl

Introducing a Diva Dan design called the Crochet Puff Braided Cowl. A new design featuring Caron Tea Cakes.

This cowl uses the Zig Zag Puff Stitch to create a rich thick braid appearance. Once you get started, there are several rows in the repeat pattern. In the pattern itself, I have included a photographic tutorial on where to stick the hook for when doing row 4. The placement of the stitch creates the rich bulging of puff to occur.

Hello!! Please help! I love this pattern, it's absolutely stunning! But I'm having a bit of trouble when it's time to start the repeat pattern. I've tried this twice, and every time I restart row 2, I end up with 31 stitches instead of 26 🙁 I just restarted for the third time, and when I got to row 5, I counted 31 again!

Clearly I'm having issues haha, so please if there's any insight you could provide, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you for your time!
