New to Yarnspirations is the Puffy Petal Pillow pattern, which features three-dimensional small flowers that form the casing for a generous pillow of 20" x 20". This pattern uses Caron Jumbo Twirl yarn, the latest fashion craze in maximalism.
This reminds me of Yo-Yo Crochet, a craze when I started teaching on YouTube in 2008 and has long since passed. That was my beginning year, and my presentation tutorials were horrible compared to today. Those videos are long gone into the dust bin of the past.
This is a join-as-you-go technique to form most of the cover before closing the ends and sides together for your pillow. If you feel empowered by it, you could technically do this as a complete join-as-you-go.
This, to me, is more interesting than Yo-Yo crochet ever was.
