Crochet Striped Baby Blanket
I could resist giving the new Bernat Blanket Stripes yarn a try to make this Crochet Striped Baby Blanket. With some yarns, I think simple patterns are better to show off the yarn. I crocheted this striped baby blanket using the yarn just how it came out of the cake. If you look close, you can see the color changes happening in the middle of most of the rows, but overall, it just looks like a planned blanket. The best part, a lovely striped piece with very few ends to weave in!
I used only 3 cakes to complete this 36" x 45" baby sized blanket. This works up super fast and is cuddly soft.

Hello Jeanne and The Crochet Crowd:
As I would like to make this lovely patterned blanket much larger would you please let me know what the pattern repeat is for this patten.
Thank you.
Pamela.

Love this pattern. I have made 2 so far. I would like to make it in a queen size. I think I figured it out but would like to confirm how man stitches for each repeat. I think it is 13 stitches. Would anyone be able to confirm this.
Jennifer Smith says
Hi Cathy, I was wondering if anyone ever answered this question?
Mikey says
I peak through comments every few days. What is the question?
Jennifer Smith says
To make this bigger do you add 13 stitches?
Mikey says
I'm not sure. The multiples are unknown. I will see if Jeanne can circle back to figure it out.
Nat says
She was asking how to make it larger (queen size) and what the stitch repeat count was in order to do so
Mikey says
It appears Jeanne hasn't recorded that information. So I don't have an answer for that.
We do have another Bernat Blanket Chevron Blanket... http://thecrochetcrowd.com/crochet-grey-scale-blanket-tutorial/ That is Multiples of 14+3. Hopefully that helps.
