Crochet Striped Baby Blanket

I could resist giving the new Bernat Blanket Stripes yarn a try to make this Crochet Striped Baby Blanket.  With some yarns, I think simple patterns are better to show off the yarn.  I crocheted this striped baby blanket using the yarn just how it came out of the cake.  If you look close, you can see the color changes happening in the middle of most of the rows, but overall, it just looks like a planned blanket.  The best part, a lovely striped piece with very few ends to weave in!

I used only 3 cakes to complete this 36" x 45" baby sized blanket.  This works up super fast and is cuddly soft.

I have ripped it out twice. Is the beginning chain 92 OR 93? I keep coming up short on the 1st row. I have no last chain to sc in.

I was fine on the first row, where I got messed up was on doing row 2 the first time. When I got to the end I was one stitch short! Incase anyone else ended up with this issue maybe ya did what I did! I misread the pattern for row 1 and didn't put *2 sc* into the 2nd chain from hook, I only put 1 sc before continuing on with the pattern, so be careful! Those of ya who mentioned ended up one ch short at the end of row 1, maybe ya put 1 sc each into the 2nd and 3rd chains from the hook rather than 2sc into the 2nd chain from hook! Just hoping to help people learn from my mix up!
