Crochet Baby Toy Box Blanket
Crochet Baby Toy Box Blanket

The Crochet Toy Box Baby Blanket is perfect for beginners of crochet. I say this because the yarn has very long stripes of one colour before switching to another.

As a newbie crocheter, I had trouble dealing with changing colours. So if you don't mind the random look of where the colour changes, you can blaze through the ball and let the yarn change the colour on its own.

This blanket takes 3 hours or less for experienced crocheters. Easy, not much thinking and get 'er done!

It takes 2 balls of Bernat Blanket Stripes, the colour shown is called Rain Glow.

I thought that this was a recent tutorial using current yarns. But I can not find this yarn ANYWHERE! It calls for Bernat Blanket Stripes in Rain Glow. I've checked Joann's, Michaels, EBay, Amazon and various yarn warehouses. Is this yarn/color only found in Canada. I'm in the lower central states.

I was able to find the Bernat Blanket Stripes but I couldn't find the exact color combo. I'm using Stripes in shades of blue and I'm really happy with how it's coming out. I'm a newbie crocheter and I have been really happy with how it's coming together. I do wish that this color combo was available, but there are other great color blends in the Bernat Blanket Stripes. It's worth giving it a try.

great tutorial but now I have to see how well/ or not using Bernat Pop works. Its very different in recommended hook size, but I have 4 balls speaking to me and I want to try.

I liked your video very much. I can't seem to find this color of the yarn, though. Other colors, but not Rain Glow, and I do love the colors. Is it being sold only in Canada right now? For some reason, Bernat/Yarnspirations doesn't have any of the Blanket Stripes yarn info, let alone photos on their own webpage. JoAnn's has several other colors on theirs.
