So, do you want to change the size of the squares for the Entrelac Crochet? We can help you with that, BUT we don't need to write a pattern or even do a separate tutorial for every possible option.

The picture below shows squares with 12 stitches and 2 gutters, aka 14 loops on the hook. In the worksheets and tutorial, I can show you how to adjust for the sizing. The only question we won't answer is the amount of yarn you need. That variable is too much to know. Just have plenty of yarn on hand.

Arguing A Point

Some people think that making bigger squares is less time-consuming. I would beg to differ. It would still be the same stitch counts if you are making the same size afghan, but I think the only thing that would be different is visually.

The picture below. The sample on the right is the regular 7 loops on the hook. The sample on the left is 12 loops on the hook. Some yarns may be better if the squares are bigger for visual appearance.

The sample on the right is Bernat Mosaic yarn (Discontinued), and the Purple sample is James C Brett Chunky Marble.

This tutorial is great, but is it possible to do it without having to change colors all the time? I like to work with a variegated yarn so the colors will change automatically

The rounds are still done separately. I love the colour changing opportunity as well. Here is an example of one: https://thecrochetcrowd.com/crochet-caron-cakes-entrelac-afghan-tutorial/
