Notes:
To change colour, work last stitch of old colour to last yarn over. Yarn over with new colour and draw through all loops on hook to complete stitch. Proceed with new colour. DO NOT cut yarn. Carry the yarn up along the side of the scarf. It will be buried inside the border at the end.

3rd row: Ch 3, 2 dc in first dc, skip next dc, sc in next sc, *shell in ch-1 space of next beg cross-st, sc in next sc; repeat from * to last 2 st, skip next dc, 3 dc in top of beginning ch-3; change to A, turn—4 shells, 6 dc, and 5 sc.

Border
1st rnd: Join B with sl st to any corner of scarf. Ch 1. 3 sc in same corner. Evenly space sc around with placing 3 sc in each corner. For the edge with the carried yarn, trap the carried yarn inside the single crochet to hide it. Join with sl sto to beg sc. Fasten off.
