The 2025 Colour of the Year for Bernat Blanket is Interstellar Indigo in a massive-sized yarn ball that may leave you with your jaw dropped. I mean seriously, 1000 grams or 35.2 ounces—a whopping 670 metres or 733 yards of yarn.
This yarn is the equivalent of just over three regular size Bernat Blanket yarn balls. A customized pattern has been made with this. However, just one ball of this is enough to make a fabulous palliative care size blanket too!
This yarn is scheduled for release the 2nd week of March 2025. This is a limited series and exclusively available on the Yarnspirations website.

Another pattern that predated the Interstellar Star Blanket was the granny-like Crochet Christmas Star Tree Skirt. The execution of the concept is the same without the hole in the centre.
Though you cannot see it in the interstellar version, the tips of each star grow outward from a pentagon after the pentagon is large enough. The tree skirt is nearly half the size of the interstellar blanket as it won't take as long.
