Daniel and I are predicting the Bernat Velvet yarn to be one of the biggest yarns for 2018 / 2019. Once you feel it, hook with it... you may just fall in love with it. Perfectly coloured natural shimmer. It's heaven gliding through your fingers.

I've crocheted a scarf and afghan with this yarn. Words hardly describe it. My friend Shannon is wearing one of the patterns I did for this product. The pattern will be released in the future.

Directly below the paragraph descussing the Merino wool content of this yarn, there is a features list stating 100% polyester. Which is it?? Poor proofreading.

Just looks like a little "oopsie" on the initial description of yarn content. (That description applies to the new Caron x Pantone yarn. The Bernat Velvet is indeed 100 % polyester. I purchased both yarns today 🙂 Both beautiful and so soft 🙂

Love the look of this yarn. Cannot wait to touch it. Hoping Joann’s will have it in stock soon for the CAL. No luck so far trying to buy online or in the store.

The colors are gorgeous. I have a question. In your description of the yarn, you wrote “This yarn is a mix of Merino Wool, Nylon and Acrylic.“ However below the paragraph, it is written that the yarn is 100% polyester??
I am allergic to polyester and cannot crochet with any polyester. It would be a shame if I could not use this enchanting yarn to make beautiful afghans and blankets etc.
