Crochet Caron X Pantone Cupcake Hat
Crochet my Caron X Pantone Cupcake Hat for the children - teens in your life, and she will look oh so sweet!
This hat uses one braid of the new and absolutely colourful Caron X Pantone yarn. I used Peach Blush Parfait, but you can use any colourway you want, and in any order you want. That's part of the beauty of this yarn: you have 5 different colours in one braid, and you get to be the designer and decide which order you wish to use them. The other amazing treat with this yarn is that it contains 20% merino wool! It is so soft and the colours are so rich.
My Caron X Pantone Cupcake Hat works up quickly. You can go from braid to hat in a couple of hours.
I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I did create it. Until you see me next time here on The Crochet Crowd, you can find me on Ravelry as The Crochet Ninja.

I am having the same issue that Liza is having with round 7. There simply is NO WAY you can get the 18 sc, 6 ch 1, and 12 ch 3's all in a 30 sc round. Please find the error in the pattern and fix as this was brought to your attention a month ago and the error still exists.

Hi Sara, I'm so very sorry for the very late reply. I have reviewed the pattern with my sample and my original chicken scratch pattern, and have found the error in the written pattern. Round 7 should be: Ch 1, sc in same st, ch 1 sc in same st (ch 3, sk next 2 sc, sc in next sc, ch 3, sk next sc, sc in next sc, ch 1, sc in next sc) rep ( ) around to last 3 st, ch 3, sk next 2 sc, sc in next, ch 3, sl st jn in 1st sc. (18 sc, 6 ch 1, 12 ch 3)
I have bolded the part of the pattern that got missed when I was typing it up. I am very sorry for the inconvenience ?

I am having the same problem that Liza is having with round 7. There seems to be an error in the typing, either a repeat where there shouldn't be or just the way the commas fall....not sure, but like stated above, there is NO WAY you are going to get 18sc, 6 ch1, and 12 ch 3's all in that 30 sc round. Please look into this ASAP as the last reply on this was done a month ago with no response or fix.

I really like this pattern, it's very cute! However, I'm having trouble with Round 7, as it doesn't seem possible to produce a total of 18 sc, 6 ch 1, and 12 ch 3 from the 30 stitches of Round 6. I am a somewhat of a beginner and perhaps I am mistaken somewhere, but I thought I should ask. Will you please check that it is written correctly? Thank you!
