Modern Granny Winter Poncho
This Modern Granny Winter Poncho pattern, could really be called, "Modern Granny Meets Glacier Cowl". I decided for my third poncho in the series to add a ribbed turtleneck to it in the same stitch that I used when crocheting the Glacier Cowl. If you are someone who doesn't like anything on your neck, you can simply leave off the collar and still have a beautiful winter poncho.
I used 3 Caron Cakes in the Blueberry Shortcake colorway because I love the ease of the self-striping yarn. You can always choose any worsted weight yarn in either a solid color or stripe it as you desire. You can also adjust the size by simply adding more rounds to reach your desired length.

I’m doing this now and I believe row 4 needs ch 3 at the end of the first repeat before you get to the ch 1 sp because you do a ch 3 after working in the sp. and you start with the repeat right after, which starts with a ch 3? Also at the end, before the sl st to finish the row?
Yvonne says
I ripped it all out and started from the 96 ch. Followed the next step to the letter, and end up with about 5 extra sc before the join at the end of the row. Something isn't quite right and not sure what it is.

Love this pattern and just wondering if you have any numbers to follow for a child size (ie. is it multiple of 2 for foundation chain etc.)
Many thanks for your fab work!
Mikey says
I believe the multiple is 6 for this.
