Initially designed by Daisy Farm Crafts using Patons Classic Wool Roving yarn for Yarnspirations. I wondered what this would look like with Bernat Symphony yarn instead. This is simply called Crochet Scarf pattern. This pattern was adapted to maximize the amount of Bernat Symphony with a slight change to not run out of yarn.
I used the Bernat Symphony in the colour called Pebbles. You just need one ball but you will not have much left over. It's almost yarn chicken.
It is 64" long x 6" wide. There isn't enough yarn on the ball to do fringe and I am not a fan of fringe as it gets caught in my zipper.
I followed the pattern as written and learned three new stitches that didn't exist in our crochet abbreviations library: hdcf2lp, scf2lp, and hdcf2lpCluster stitches. It's a pretty cool concept. You can use these stitches when the row below is half double crochet and the project is turned back and forth.
Size: 64” x 6” wide
Bernat Symphony - 225 g/7.9 oz, 282 m/309 yds
Pebbles - 1 Ball
Hook Size: 6 mm / J/10
GAUGE = 11 sc and 12 rows = 4” [10 cm]
