Hi Mikey,
I am doing your chevron blanket with the bead stitch. I followed your short tutorial on the pattern and did fine. When I finish the first row of bead stitch and turn my work to start the row of sc I chain 1 and then do 2 sc in the same stitch. I then count my next 5 sc before doing the 3tog but for some reason I get six sc spaces before I get to my 3tog. What am I doing wrong. I tried reading your written pattern but I am not able. Would you have another tutorial that shows more rows of this style of pattern?

Hello Mikey,
Thank you so much for the video of the yellow scalloped top! I've been wanting to make it for awhile but I've never made a garment before and felt I needed some instruction. So I was excited to find your video! Now that I've started, I have a question. Is there some way to make it a medium on the bottom and small at the top? I want it to fit loose like the picture but the size small seems like it's going to be tight around the torso. I've tried a size I and J hook and I'm getting gauge in the length and the width is just 3-4 stitches over, with both hooks. I'm using Caron Sayelle. It's a lot like simply soft. Thank you!

I had trouble getting the right size. What I ended up doing was I made the front a size small and the back a size medium and it fits perfectly!
