Hypnotic Tiles Afghan

Introducing the Crochet Hypnotic Tiles Afghan by me, Mikey of The Crochet Crowd. This is using Caron Cakes Yarn featuring the Red Velvet Colour.

In my design today, there are layers within each of the squares that are in the afghan. The afghan is made up of 20 squares that are joined as you go and then with a final border around the edge.

The pattern isn't difficult but has a texture that includes layers of texture and with the colour transitions of this yarn, the afghan looks amazing.

I absolutely am having so much fun making this afghan! I was lucky to find six skeins of Fairy Cake and I'm loving the squares in this color. Thanks so much for another beautiful pattern!

This is beautiful, Mikey! I LOVE these colours and I'd love to do this. Unfortunately I haven't found Caron Cakes in the UK. But I'll try taking a cue from the colours here and see what I can do - after Christmas! Have a list of stuff to accomplish before my itchy fingers can start on this! 😉 Thank you for posting the tutorial - I just can't get over the generousity of your site!
