Crochet Gentle Waves Baby Blanket
When I looked at the colour of this yarn, the first thing I was to remind of was the gentle waves of the ocean. So I had to crochet this Gentle Waves Baby Blanket to represent the yarn. I love a soft rippling blanket and this one will be perfect to wrap around a newborn baby.
The Caron Chunky Cakes is a soft 100% acrylic #6 weight yarn. I only needed 2 Cakes to crochet this 28" x 35" blanket. The multiple is 8 + 4 if you would like to adjust the size to a bigger afghan. (Pattern updated 1/26/18)

Looking at the diagram in the video, row 3 is still wrong. Here’s the fix, starting at the *
*3 sc in next ch-1 sp, sc in next stitch
Then go in the the parentheses.
The 3 sc goes into the top of the chain one space from the (dc, chain one, dc) from the row below. Following the pattern as written out, you drop many stitches and it starts to curve. So watch the video and pause on the diagram.
