The Crochet Mosaic Stitch Blanket Pattern is a very popular stitching concept that is slightly different than what we have done before. I find this pattern much easier to do and follow.
This particular pattern is part of a 4 pattern series that is using this same stitch concept.
The mosaic pattern is the exact same in each. So there are ways to make a fully mosaic blanket or use other stitches to make panels.

Hi Mikey I am having an issue with the stitch count in this pattern that has left me confused and I am wondering if it is me or if there's a mistake in the pattern. To start the stripe section it tells you to chain 152, then after the foundation row you have 151, an odd number. When you get to the mosaic section you work in even numbers, 8, 10, 2, 10, 2, etc till a final 8. But when I get there using my 151, I have 9 at the end, not 8. Are you able to clarify please?
Mikey says
Leave this with me. The Graph that was provided didn't have an issue with that and I didn't have that issue during filming but I also did a small swatch and not the 152 beginning chain. When I can find more time, I'll have to investigate further. Have you asked this with Yarnspirations already through their website? They have direct contact with the designer to pose this question directly.

Hi Mikey Hadn't asked Yarnspirations as I couldn't find where to submit a query, but after your response I looked more thoroughly and have now submitted a question with them. Thank you for the quick response, I will await a response from them. Have a great day.

I am really loving these mosaic patterns. I have seen where there is a way to make them “reversible” with a positive/negative look rather than the stripes on the back side. (Hope that made sense).
Is there a possibility of you teaching this technique in the future? Maybe as part of your more advanced classes.
Thank you for introducing so many new ideas into my world.

There is interlocking that does that and I find it very difficult to teach online. In person, really tough. People lack the 3D approach in viewing it and I lack the ability to communicate it really well. It's really tough to teach for me.
