Fire sale happened with the Bernat Blanket limited edition, Interstellar Indigo, on March 8, 2025. Taken by surprise, all of the yarn sold out in hours. Those who had signed up for the Yarniverse Sale were notified, and those who were quick on the draw could get their hands on this yarn. With JOANN winding down, more and more yarn will be transitioning to the online digital space for sales directly from Yarnspirations.
Daniel Zondervan, my life partner, is an expert at colour matching. It's a gift he has, and it's sickening how easily he can do it. He's been gardening since he was a child. In university, his job was working in a greenhouse and then a flower shop. He would later go onto working at garden centres in helping people pair up flowers and trees, not only colour-wise but through companion planting and different seasonal changes with the colours.
Here at home, the garden is always in bloom with each tree, shrub or flower having different timings so that the garden always has something to eat. From manicured garden spaces to wild spaces. Not so quick to pull weeds.
Daniel examined the Interstellar Indigo, which has space, metal alloy, and magnetic quality in colouring. In going through Bernat Blanket, he has isolated 10 balls of colouring.
Colours reflect glimmers of light, space dust, comet spray, and metals you would see on space shows like Star Trek.
