Crochet Cluster Waves Blanket

The Cluster Waves blanket is an easy baby blanket. Not quite a beginner but pretty close to it for anyone that is new and has a bit of ambition. My tutorial below breaks down the steps at the beginning of the project to get your baby blanket started.

This pattern consists of only 1 row of instructions once you get started. This means it's easy to remember the steps and procedures. This eventually makes this a baby blanket that is easy to do in front of the TV without much difficulty. Slap on a feel food movie put on the pot of coffee and enjoy your afternoon.

In this tutorial, I reveal how many stitches you need in order to change the size of your project. If you love this project but want more than a baby size, my chain count advice will help you.

These make for a great charity donation item to a family in need. Awesome baby showers or gifts for a new mom. If you are expecting yourself, this may pass some time to make your new baby a blanket before their big debut into the world.

Stitch it Forward

Yarnspirations has released their latest Lookbook called Caron, Stitched with Love. The book of free patterns for both knitters and crocheters has one central theme, charity. It focuses on simple projects and some that require a bit of knowledge of crochet. Personally, I love how the Lookbook allows new crocheters to learn new skills but also for the ones who have some skills to go a step further. Not only is this book charity oriented, but it also a great starting point for crocheters and knitters to do something more than practice with stitches. It will allow them to learn, grow and contribute to their own community with the projects they create.

The project above is from this Lookbook. This article is one specific pattern and I have a tutorial that matches it for those who need an extra helping hand with the instructions and skills needed to complete the project.
