Crochet Goodnight Kisses Baby Blanket

Goodnight Kisses Baby Blanket by Jeanne Steinhilber
Goodnight Kisses Baby Blanket by Jeanne Steinhilber

Crochet Goodnight Kisses Baby Blanket Pattern is an easy 6 round repeat made colorful with Caron Baby Cakes yarn.

The newer bigger ball sizes of the yarn means only 2 balls are needed for this 37" square baby blanket. Also new this year is the solid color balls to coordinate with the self-striping yarn.

Don't miss the matching Goodnight Kisses Rectangle Blanket!

I also made a second blanket with 3 balls of Bernat Super Value yarn; 2 balls Baby Pink and 1 ball Natural.

I love the colors of the goodnight kisses baby blanket and wanted to make for my grandson. I ordered caron baby cakes pool party from Michaels. I received the yarn, when I opened the box the pool party is pastel colors. I am disappointed, I wanted the colors you have. Is there a mistake on the yarn you used?

    Thank you

Let me take a look. The photography colouring of the project as we are just amateurs may be different than what we can see in the photos. I'll be right back to at what colour Pool Party is.

I looked at the sample on Michaels. I believe it's our photograph of being in a darker room that is giving the pastel colouring a deeper hue. Taken with a cell phone. I'm really sorry your money was wasted on this yarn. It's the difference between taking our own photos at home versus sending this to a photographic studio and having to charge for the patter to offset the cost of professional photography.

I'm sorry, we don't have that as the pattern repeat is pretty quick.

We have talked behind the scenes. Jeanne is re-writing this pattern to include all rounds instead of a summary of the repeating to accommodate the stitch counts per rounds. Should be available by tomorrow (Monday).

This is a cool blanket. I think I will have fun making it.
