Caron Cakes Projects

Caron Cakes is a brand new yarn line by Caron this year. Patterns have been released on Michaels.com for this particular yarn. On The Crochet Crowd Facebook, you can see others using their own creativity and using this yarn on a variety of other projects such as shawls, afghans, cowls, scarves and much more. In the picture is the Crochet Caron Cakes Easy Slouchy.

Hmm it seems like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what
I submitted and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your
blog. I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I'm still
new to everything. Do you have any tips and hints for
novice blog writers? I'd really appreciate it.

When I first saw the finished products on the wrappers, I was hooked, no pun intended. However I was disappointed to learn that as I was crocheting I could tell my finished object would not look like the item on the wrapper without me cutting the yarn at various places to achieve the item that so entranced me. I have found that to be true of all the cakes (4) I have purchased ?

Does anyone have any experience in converting a crochet pattern into one for knitting? I would like to knit the Kerchief Scarf instead of crochet, can anyone help?

I believe Yarnspirations has a knitted version Kerchief. Just use their search engine on their site and it will popup. 😀 Best wishes.
