Baby Cowboy Booties
Cute and novelty baby booties, introducing the Baby Cowboy Booties. This pattern has diagrams for the sole and working up to the leg. The pattern was revised in May 2019 to a small stitch count typo.
These cute Crochet Cowboy Booties were originally filmed back in 2009. Revisions have taken place to make the pattern easier to crochet and follow. A new video was filmed in March 2018 to complement the revisions to the pattern.
The pattern is now a downloadable PDF with photos taken during revision making to highlight the pattern creation.
Crochet diagrams are available showing the base of the sole. Another crochet diagram is showing the outside of the sole decreasing inward as well to give you visuals on how to do this.
Recommending to use Caron Simply Soft Yarn.
These booties turned out so cute! But, there are quite a few errors in the written pattern, and I would have given up on them without the video (in which the instructions do not always match the written pattern). I’d love to have a corrected pattern so I don’t have to keep watching the video for each bootie I make 😉
Let me take a look. I really thought I had corrected that. It’s best to delete the pattern then to fix it as I am swamped. I’ll take a look when I get more time. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll put this on my to do list.
Where can I get a written pattern for the boots?
I would like a written pattern.
The pattern is linked there as a downloadable.
Please send me a written pattern for the baby cowboy booties.
The pattern I have is very difficult to follow.
There is a blue pattern button that you can download, that would be the same pattern we would have. If I find I’m struggling and there is a video. I usually watch that a couple of times to try to figure out where I’m getting confused. It may take some time but it does help.
Can you show how to count the stitches? I get confused…do I count the chain; do I crochet in the first stitch next to the hook?
I would like a written pattern. Thank you. [email protected]
I’ve added a button to make it easier for you to find the written pattern.
I love your patterns. They are sooooo easy to understand because they are so well written. Thank you so much. My grandson was born with a club foot and it is so hard to find boots for him . we have been looking for something just to keep his little feet warm . I will be making booties for him now that i have a pattern that i can understand. Again thanks for sharing
