Free Bernat Crochet Gingerbread Bear Pattern + Tutorial

The Crochet Gingerbread Bear is based on the Crochet Valentine Bear, both designed by Sarah from Repeat Crafter Me. The differences between the bears are visually evident, whereas the gingerbread version doesn't have a heart stomach and has two rounds of white in the arms and feet.

These are easy to make and relatively quick as well. So, if you have someone who surprises you and you need a gift idea, this could be it.

Both versions are nice, and these make for a fabulous keepsake project. Technically, the pattern is generic, and you could do a bear for every season if you felt like it.

The video tutorial has been re-edited to include information about the changes in the pattern. Still, you need to download the original Valentine Bear Version and then make the small changes in the legs, as Sarah points out in her article.

Hi, I've been searching and searching for the pattern and tutorial for the bear baby blanket. You did a C2C tutorial using it as your starter example. But where can i find the actual pattern and tutorial of that blanket?

There is no tutorial for the bear. The concept of the beginner series was to understand how to read the chart so you could do it on your own. The beginner series was here and the bear is linked with it in a blue download button midway through article. https://thecrochetcrowd.com/corner-corner-graphghans-beginners-tutorial/
