Top Down Funnel Neck Knit Pullover with Caron Latte Cakes

Are you looking for the right free pattern for your first knitted sweater project? The Top Down Funnel Neck Knit Pullover is an easy place to start. Designed in 6 sizes, it has a loose fit (aka positive ease, in industry lingo), for bust measurements from 28" through 62". The thick gauge and no-assembly-needed simplicity means your project will work up fast. Knit with the lofty softness of Caron Latte Cakes, your sweater will feel like wearing a snuggly cloud.

I am not an experienced knitter, but I think this pattern is not written correctly. I have cast on 72 stitches and worked the ribbing. The next step should increase the round by 8 stitches, but I only count 72. I don’t know how to adjust the pattern. Please help. Thanks.

If you contact Yarnspirations. They have pattern support and this is one of their designs. They have knitters as part of the helpdesk. Like you, I am not strong enough of a knitter to be of much help. I'm sorry.
