This brand new 2025 design uses Red Heart Bitty Stripes yarn to create the cycle of typical entrelac crochet. This blanket is crocheted in rows, and once you understand the pattern, the rest of it falls inline.
Every over stripe is a different yarn ball. There are just two colours in all, but they are both transitioning on their own.
I was pretty surprised at how large the hook was, but in testing it myself, I realized this blanket is more flexible and faster to crochet. It's not so dense so that the pattern won't take as long.

To change the size of this pattern, the stitch multiple is 10 chains + 13. It will stay in balance and perfect each and every time. In the tutorial, I will reference the original baby blanket from several years ago that was refilmed in 2025 to cover some minor errors I made in the original video.
