Crochet Timeless Memory Blanket
Learn how to do this stitch combo that makes your crochet projects look vintage or retro. I recently used this stitch combination for a baby project called the Timeless Memories Baby Blanket.
For the Timeless Memories Baby Blanket, I used 17 multiples of 6 and then added 4 chains at the end with my Bernat Softee Chunky Baby Yarn and an L or 8 mm size crochet hook. I have a tutorial on that if you wish. Click on the photo of the blanket if you would like to view that tutorial and get that free pattern.
This stitch goes pretty quickly.

I love this pattern? and enjoying the process of making it.
I crochet baby gear and blankets for the neonatal dept at waitakere hospitals maternity unit. After no crochet or knitting over the past 40yrs or so, I am having a blast. Totally LOVE Crochet as a tool for relaxing ? Thank you for sharing your talents and skills with us, Mikey❣

I am seeking a translation of a direction/instruction to start a project. The pattern did not give specifics of what abbreviations were. I recently discovered FDC = foundation double crochet. And, I think I may have gotten that committed to memory. Now, I need to be informed of "OR". (ie: FDC 102, turn, ch 3; OR 102.) Can you, please, help me?? Oh! The project item is/will be a woman's vest. Thank you!

It was written on the website... but for your convenience, I wrote a PDF that is now downloadable. I'm sorry, I wrote this pattern before I had PDF downloadable options. It should be working for you now.

Thank you so very much. I apologize for my frustration but I found a gorgeous lovey and was directed here for the blanket. I was disappointed trying to obtain this beautiful stitch. Again my apologies. Thank you for the sweet pattern. It’s very beautiful. God bless.
