I am looking for a baby afghan-blanket pattern for one I made many years ago. I believe it was double crochet. I crocheted it in white. Then crochet a chain stitch the width of the blanket and weaved it through the white blanket from side to side. I think the chains were crocheted in pink and blue. Then I tied a piece of yarn and looped around the edge like fringe. I have been unable to find my pattern. Do you have any suggestions where I might be able to get a free pattern of purchase one? Thank you.

Hi Darla,
Your baby blanket sounds like the first afghan I ever crocheted when I was expecting my 1st baby in 1970.
The pattern was a (double crochet, chain-1) stitch*. Repeat after * until the blanket is the desired size.
I crocheted mine in white also, made chains in pink and blue and wove them into the ch-1 spaces between the double crochets. I often wondered what the blanket would have looked like if I had used 1/4" ribbon instead of the crocheted chains.
In the blanket at the ends of the chains I also made pink and blue yarn fringe like you did.
Hope this helps,
Anne
