Happy Holidays Afghan
Check out this free pattern called the Happy Holidays Crochet Afghan. I was drawn to this afghan because I thought the white section of the squares reminded me of quaint doilies. To my surprise, the squares are not complicated at all.
To be truthful to my fans, I would do this afghan but omit the tassels but that is really a personal preference for myself. The squares are really nice on their own.

The afghan is done with diagonal attaching but you can decide to do it more traditional. You would need fewer squares for the traditional attaching method as well.
I substituted my yarn for Caron Simply Soft Party Yarn instead. I really like the sparkle of the Caron Simply Soft Party and it's a premium acrylic yarn. It's delish!
To substitute, you will need 9 balls for the green you see in the photo and 6 balls for white you see to match the afghan instructions.

Great pattern and a definite one for this upcoming holiday season...however, I would prefer a written pattern...is one available? I take my crochet with me to work and do not have internet access when at work to follow the tutorial so a written pattern is much better for me...Sure would love to make this pattern!!! Thanks Mikey and crew!!!

Well Done Mikey! Another success. Perfect timing on this one as it will take me to the holidays to finish it. Keep up the good work!
