Yarnspirations introduced Red Heart With Love Low Pill yarn in fall 2025—a new take on one of my favourite brands, Red Heart With Love yarn.
A new and improved formula to reduce the pilling action of the yarn. It's 100% acrylic, and with the upgrade, I feel Yarnspirations hit this one out of the park.

One thing that made me fall in love with Red Heart With Love yarn is the idea that it was a step above Red Heart Super Saver. The softness is built into the yarn from the moment you start using it. There are two new extensions, Red Heart With Love Low Pill and Red Heart With Love Better Half. Both of the latest brands hit my expectations and then some.
The Softness!!!
The softness of the yarn gliding across my hand is so amazing. The scrunchy and bouncy ball is soft, but wow, when it moves across your hook and hands, it feels like a massage.
Yarnspirations challenged me to create a tutorial for the blanket you see below. The Crochet Love You Forever Wave Blanket was such a pleasure to teach.
Visually, the yarn strand enhances stitch definition, raising my pride in crochet. With better-quality acrylic, the yarn has a lustre (shine).
The yarn strand weighs it, which you can feel between your fingertips.
The yarn balls are more petite, but they pack a punch in quality. I can see these being ideal for baby and adult garments, given how they drape in my sample.
The yarn is 3.5 oz / 100 g and has 171 yards / 157 metres. It's a #4 weight yarn. What is surprising me is that the blanket above called for a 6 mm / J/10 crochet hook, and I was expecting gaps in the stitchwork because the hook is too big for the thickness shown in the ball. The yarn reacts ever so perfectly to the crocheted hook.
This is a fantastic addition to Yarnspirations' lineup of yarns.
