The Crochet Pumpkin Face Blanket is known for collecting ribbons at fairs. It's timeliness and accessorizes your Halloween decor. For those who enjoy Halloween, this can be brought out each year when changing the decor to represent Halloween.
Many fairs take place in the fall, and this one commands attention as many people are feeling the fall vibe. There is a bit of work to do the motif work to add to the blanket. In the tutorial, I show you how to add the faces and lettering to the blanket without interfering with the back of the afghan, so it's not judged down for work-personship.
The squares themselves are completed in never before seen, at least by me, in the way it's done with having no gaps in the corners. I give extra tips in the tutorial about avoiding nasty slip stitching lines.
