These popular crochet roll-down baby booties use Bernat Handicrafter yarn, which is 100% cotton yarn. Grown in the USA and processed for colours in Canada. You can substitute easily with Lily Sugar'n Cream or Peaches & Cream yarn. 100% cotton is important for this application for a baby to wear.
The upper cuff of the baby's booties rolls down, providing more of an elastic wrap around the baby's ankles. They remind me of rolled-down socks.
The pattern starts at making the cuff and then going down to the foot part.
They also say with these booties, you can make them as decor as well. Imagine a cool pair hanging from a Christmas Tree as an ornament. The creativity is unlimited.

Did you ladies check your yarn weight? Using the correct yarn weight is very important and one shoukd always do a testcswatch before starting so that adjustments can be made whether it is yarn weight or hook size.

Love these Roll down Baby booties. Only problem, I made a pair right along with you on Video for a three month size. And they seem huge, my Granddaughter is just now two months old and her feet are not even half this size. Wonder how one would make these smaller???
She's a good size baby over 10 lbs and her feet are only as long as my pointer finger.

Same problem here....they're huge and I did not crochet loose, guess they'll be ok at 6-8 months
