Crochet Braided Cable Blanket

This absolutely gorgeous Crochet Braided Cable Blanket is using Caron One Pound yarn. The braid is significant in this one. Meaning, it's wider than I normally have done. I actually have an urge to try it.

This is something I would find in a home decor store but having the capability of doing it myself.

I am having a great deal of difficulty figuring this out. It seems that if I do row 2 it makes ripples on the back of the blanket behind the 9 dcfp and I am not sure if this is correct as the video only shows the front work. Please help

That's right. It will appear as stand off stitching in behind because you are doing Front Post Stitches on the cables itself. You are on the right track.

I would like to make this blanket bigger. I would like it to fit a queen size bed, and hang over. Which I believe you called a "drape". I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make this blanket bigger!

try chainging multiples of 20 plus 4 to your desired size and see how that works out for you. (I always struggle finding that count for changing size lol)
