I've been looking for a doily pattern, that's a little lacy, not highly dence. I've been thinking that I could turn it into a summery beret. Do you think it's doable, and do you have any pattern recommendations?
Mikey says
It is doable when you put your mind to it. A lot of my doilies are too spacy and have points like snowflakes. Maybe try looking at Ravelry to see if there is a doily you like and then improvise from that.

I am having a lot of trouble reading a pattern and I need help because I am ending up with an extra stitch!! This is what the pattern says:
Starting chain: Chain 70.
Row 1: Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook, single crochet in each chain across. (Total = 69 single crochet)
Row 2: chain 3 (counts as first double crochet), double crochet in each of next 2 single crochet, * skip next single crochet, v-stitch, skip next single crochet, double crochet in next single crochet *, repeat from * to * 14 more times, skip next single crochet, v-stitch, skip next single crochet, double crochet in last 3 single crochet.
In row 2 I have an extra stitch and I don’t know why. Help!!!

I'm trying to figure out which pattern you are talking. I'll scan through the patterns to see what it could be.
Mikey says
I checked the patterns that are in this article. I don't see one of the patterns that have ch 70. I'm sorry, I don't know which pattern you are speaking about.

Is there a tutorial video on the C2C dragon blanket?
Mikey says
We only have a generic video on how to read the diagram, how to change colours and exactly how to carry colours. Once you understand it, you can do this with any C2C Picture. See this tutorial to get started. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZk8hk6w1xc
