A great new versatile pattern is the Canada Peak Hats that are extremely fun to change the colours. The uniqueness of the striping in the pattern allows you to change the colours and be patriotic. You can experiment with your colours to create your own country’s flag. This is the Let The Games Begin Hat Pattern.

This pattern is using Schachenmayr SMC Boston Yarn. You only need 4 skeins to pull this off. The main colour needs 2 skeins while the other colours just need a little bit from each skein. This yarn is considered a bulky weight yarn. If you are substituting your yarn, insure that it’s chunky.

The Boston yarn is a mix of 70% acrylic and 30% virgin wool. Speaking bluntly. I haven’t seen a yarn like this one. It’s incredibly soft and extremely durable. This is perfect for the outdoorsy and trendy person that will wear these hats.

Mikey, aka Michael Sellick, of The Crochet Crowd, started this online journey back in 2008. A mere hobby in trying to reach out to others as he was mentally struggling with his own issues. His goal was simple, find others in the yarn communities, like him, that have a common interest.

The journey and main baby of the whole idea started with a YouTube Channel and then in 2011, an official website was developed. Michael is not only the face of The Crochet Crowd but also the working engine behind the crowd in self-taught programming, social media and so much more.

Enjoy the stitching journey. Life is short, enjoy this wonderful hobby and all of the learning opportunities that come with it.

Thanks. The original pattern was removed by the host. We only have a tutorial left from this.
