Crochet Patriotic Comfort Lap Blanket
I am excited to introduce my Patriotic Comfort Lap Blanket. I crocheted this in response to a call out for red, white and blue lap blanket donations for my local hospice center.
I have had two experiences with hospice so far in my life, first with my dad, then last year with my husband. They are an amazing group and I am happy to give back by sharing a few lap blankets with the people who are in need of comfort. I really enjoy crocheting for charity as it's so rewarding.
This easy blanket is textured with cross stitches and worked entirely double stranded for the lovely marled effect. I offset the red, white and blue with an off white yarn to give the white yarn a bit of pop. This lap blanket would look great in your favorite color combo and easily resized by to any length and width.
