        yarn needle
        GAUGE: 14 dc = 4" [10 cm]; 8
        rows = 4" [10 cm] in double

      Hello,
      On the Two Rectangle Cardigan pattern, which I have just started, I noticed that the directions for the foundation single crochet is not correct.
      After you insert hook under both loops of chain stitch and pull up a loop, you left out the step about "yarn over and pull thru first loop on hook" then yarn over and pull thru last two loops on hook.

          Morning Shirley. Michael here. I vaguely remember that there was a pattern error but I think I filmed this with the mistake fixed as I noticed it. I don't remember if I filed a message for Yarnspirations to update the pattern. I don't always do that and it's possible I didn't here. Crocheters can also contact Consumer Services to advise them there is an error to fix as well. I'm unsure if anyone has done that.

      Hi
      If my pattern calls for 54 rows of half double crochet but I want to make this pattern in
      double crochet how many rows will I have to do?

        I'm really not sure about the row counts. I would look at the diagram and see the dimensions for this garment and do the amount of rows that matches the dimensions. That's the easiest way.
