Granny square clothing items are currently in trend. I know some of you may be triggered back to the 1970s, but it really does look fun. This is sized for 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months baby sizes, Using Bernat Softee Baby yarn. This is the Baby Granny Vest pattern.
Both the front and back start off with a granny square that has shoulders and width added to each side to build it out. Once completed, sew the two panels together and add final touches such as sleeve edging and collar edging.
