Developed around 2009ish was Bernat Ruffelina Yarn. At the time, ruffle yarns like Red Heart Sashay were starting to hit the strong trend of materials where the yarn was just looped in existing holes to create incredible-looking scarves.
Bernat Ruffelina was intended to support those with cancer and raise awareness of cancer. The package included a pattern for knitters, and I filmed the video over 12 years ago during the initial beginnings of our YouTube Channel. Yes, I look like a young baby in the video.
By today's standards in 2024, this yarn is considered out of trend, but it will come back one day; just wait and see.
