Rainbow Wave Afghan Pattern
This afghan is really stunning. You can decide to crochet using the back loops as it is suggesting or do the regular stitches. Each has a unique way of looking. If you review my video tutorial on the bottom, you can clearly see the difference between the two stitching techniques. Personally, I don't think the back loops on this project is tough at all and looks far better.
Honestly speaking, this afghan takes a bit of getting started to count the stitches. You may think you are screwing up as it takes 2 rows to be done before it starts looking like the pattern. So stick with it and you will be happy.

For this pattern, I have not been able to figure out the multiple counts to make different width sizes.

Hi Mikey, DJ here again, wanted to say that when I did my (Bargello), my chain was 149 (multiples of 12 + 4) took me 3 tries at getting it to end right before I finally figured it out. Regards

Hello Mikey,
I made this bargello pattern years ago and when I tried recently to make one in Christmas colors because I through it would be pretty, I got so lost and after about 20 rows, I through I had made a mistake and had to start over. You are so right about knowing where your stitches are. I almost gave up but I have crocheted for over 50 years and could not let this pattern defeat me. Your instructions were very good and I just wanted to thank you for giving me the COURAGE to try again.
