Crochet Lacy Shawl
Absolutely gorgeous is the new Crochet Lacy Shawl from Yarnspirations. It just screams WOW from the minute you see the photo to the time you are crocheting your way through it.
The pattern has the rows 1 - 12 on the diagram and once you really understand how this is being made, you can understand how to grow it. There are only 36 rows. So the first 1-12, essentially ⅓ is in diagram format with you.

The tutorial below slowly takes you through 1 - 12 and I have done my best to break up the steps so you can see how things connect together, meaning, how the pattern is strategic in growth.
Use the tutorial below to get started. I would recommend a bit of knowledge of pattern reading or diagram understanding will take this from merely a picture to a finished project in your hands. I do try my best to break it all up for your easier understanding.

Hi Mike I am in the midst of working on this lacy shawl and as I am using two strand of cotton yarn hence it seems to be pretty short, am already at second round of repeating 15 to 22, and am at 22 now. Is there any way that I am able to go one more round of repeating 15 to 22 again before I head on to repeat only 23 and 24 and then the final row? I understand that I will need to repeat [] 7 times instead of 5 times when I hit on the second repeat of 15 to 22 and I am worry that it might not work. Can advice me on the third round of repeating 15 to 22 possibility? Thanks and I love all your work piece as your tutorial is so detailed and I never miss any stitches.

Love your helpful tutorials! I'm in love my lacy shawl but was curious as to how to make pattern into a poncho style without making two panels and joining.... thanks for you time! Marie

that's a great question. I don't know a quick answer without research and testing samples. I'm sorry. Terrific question but needs a lot of time for research.

Hey there, Mike.
I just wanted to thank you, sincerely, for the companion video tutorial for the Lacey Shawl. I have to admit, this pattern had me pulling my hair out on more than one occasion, haha. But your video helped immensely. I honestly don't know if I'd have stuck with it, otherwise. I'm a big fan of all the videos/written patterns here at The Crochet Crowd. Love your work, and I so appreciate your helpful explanations of the written patterns.
Looking forward to any and all new pieces.

That one is a tough pattern. I had trouble filming it myself. There's a lot to think about. So you are not alone in the struggle! Enjoy.
