From using this as a crochet prayer shawl to making it a stress reliever to wrap yourself in warmth or give it to someone else. This crochet shawl hits the right notes of making TV time more enjoyable. For Jeanne, her spiritual side of herself applied blessings as she made her version. Mikey, not being religious, was thinking about others who could use warmth or a reminder that they matter for his charity donations.
This is the Warm Cup of Tea Crochet Shawl free pattern.
What is a prayer shawl? It’s any shawl that when you are crochet it, you pray and say blessings for the person you are gifting it to. Jeanne created this shawl for a special person who was influential in leading her on her spiritual journey so she could wrap herself in it during her own quiet time.
This is a great charity box stuffer for Mikey to help others keep warm, and super easy to make in front of the TV.

Ch 100.

- There are 46 double crochet posts that stand alone across 2nd row. If you lose your way, this number will help you to quickly check your counts. I have marked that on the crochet diagram to help illustrate this point.
- Ch-1 sp counts as a stitch.
3rd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), 2 dc in base of ch 3, 1 dc in each st until 3 sts rem, dc3tog in last 3 sts. Turn. 97 sts.
Rep rows 2 and 3 until it measures 72” long. Fasten off.
