Crochet Double Cable Headband
I was inspired by this Patons Slouchy Crochet Cardigan Design on Yarnspirations. The pattern for the Patons Slouchy Crochet Cardigan has this gorgeous crochet panel of Double Cables!
It is exactly what I was looking for in a pattern for a headband! The headband met all my criteria! Crocheters are inspired by patterns, colours, textures, designs. When we want something we make it! We get creative! I was inspired by Yarnspirations to make a headband that provided those options!
I chose a worsted weight 4 - like Bernat Super Value or Bernat Happy Holidays and a size 5.0 mm hook. I skipped through the Cardigan to the Cable Panel. Using both the written pattern and the diagram I crocheted of the approximate length of 18 inches / or 45.72cm (my head measures 22 / 55.88cm) Then I just simply stopped on the second-row repeat, turned it right sides together - slipped stitched the ends together. For a trim, it is easy to put single crochet - ch-1, sc evenly spaced around the outer edges of the headband. Ta-dah and you have completed an awesome Double Cable Headband.

The headband is the same design as the Edging of the sweater. Laura Jean was sharing with you in the article that's where it comes from. So when you click over to the Cardigan, just follow the edging and stop when it fits your head.
