Crochet Hooded Baby Blanket
Crochet Hooded Baby Blanket

The Crochet Baby Hooded Blanket is an easy pattern to use. The blanket is actually square and the hood is added on afterwards.

The hood resembles the look of a hat when it's done.

Keep a baby snug as a bug. It's easy to crochet.

Hello! Can you please send me a video for this pattern.. I am very confused, although it says it is an easy pattern... is this a corner to corner pattern?
If a video is not possible can you just explain more simply the pattern? I am an experienced crocheter but really am having trouble with this pattern.

This is in reference to The crochet hooded baby blanket using the Bernat baby blanket yarn.

Thanks so very much....looking forward to hearing from you. Bev

    Thanks in advance. Bev

Morning Bev, I have not filmed this blanket.

This is a granny square which a hood added to one corner. If you think this pattern should be pulled offline, please let me know. I'd be happy to do that as I may not have written it correctly. would be easier to remove it from the catalogue as I am so short of time.

Thanks for your response.... I don’t think it has to be pulled...think I am getting it....I do have a question though as to why you are putting hdc in the corner instead of just continuing with a regular dc ...I I think that is what is confusing me.... also with each row there is an increase of 4 stitches...correct? Otherwise I think I am good...just seeking clarification....you seem to have a modification of the granny square pattern. Thanks...looking forward to hearing from you.....

When doing the dcfp in each stitch on rows 3 and above, do you do it to the 2 htr worked in the corner as well? This would mean each side would grow by 4 stiches. Is this correct? A crochet video on YouTube would be fantastic please.

Please include a stitch count per round. I'm stuck on row 3, unable to make a square based on the pattern as written.

The blanket was crocheted back a few years ago and I donated it to charity. Usually, if this is single crochet. Each side gains by 2 stitches per round. You may want to pass on this blanket as I don't have the answer for you at the moment. I'm sorry.
