Two crochet designs in one is the original Hugs and Kisses Headband morphed into a crochet crown for the fun of it. Crowns are sometimes just a fun element to the winter blahs but also keeping the cold off your ears. Enjoy both patterns below.
Original Crochet Hugs and Kisses Headband
My latest Hugs & Kisses Headband project was designed for the Nautical Twilight Alaskan Crochet Cruise. This headband is quick, easy and just perfect for glacier watching. But if you don't have any glaciers in your neighbourhood, it's still an excellent accessory for a chilly morning.

The headband is just enough to keep your ears warm for those like me that don't particularly like wearing a hat. This project is also a great item to make for selling at craft fairs. I only used just a bit over 1 oz of yarn. So a Caron One Pound ball should give you 14 or 15 headbands.

Crochet Hugs and Kisses Crown
Crochet crowns are trending right now. One of our TCCSS members took my Hugs & Kisses Headband and turned it into a fun winter crown. I have already seen a few others jumping on this latest bandwagon with great color combinations. Use your imagination to change the colors of the popcorn stitches or add beads to Hugs & Kisses Crown Headband to dress it up.
